what kind of tires do I need for snow?

Hi my friend.
Until now, I have done all the tests on the different tires of Duratrax for the snow.

(5) Tires were tested.
Duratrax (LOCKUP MT), very good tires in snow and ice.
A lot of grip.

Duratrax SIX PACK MT, are excellent in snow and ice. These tires have good stability on the ice for controlled skidding.

The tires (dBOOTS), works really well in the snow too.

Did you need to modify the Senton body for any of the Duratrax?

Yes!
You have to mount the body and cut out back so that the wheels do not rub at full speed.

Hi my friend.
I live in Saguenay, Quebec. Here we have a lot of snow.
Really eager to try the Kraton in the snow and ride the highest mountain of snow.
I believe the hobby shop has tires from (Duratrax SIX PACK 3.8 17mm). I will buy them with the truck on Monday.

Duratrax (SIX PACK MT 2.8 14mm).

-17 Celsius with light but cold wind.
This is the second tire test of (Duratrax SIX PACK MT 2.8).
A new snow of (1) centimeter and the ground is iced.
I like these tires a lot. Give me a lot of control on the ice.
At the end of the video, I play the power of the engine to glide without stopping.
Tires allow you to steer without losing control of the truck.
I really like the SENTON BLX.

Finally, I received my second set of Duratrax LOCKUP MT 2.8 tires for my Senton 3S BLX.
I had broken a rim of wheel on the ice with the cold of winter.
I love these tires, for snow and ice.

I have other Duratrax tires on order.
Hatchet MT & Six Pack MT.
It gives us another choice of tires at a good price.

1) 1/2" offset? is that the right fitment?
2) do you need hex adapters or new hubs?

You have to lift the body and cut out the body.
It is provided for the Granite without any modification and offset, is correct fot the Santon. ?

I do not have much experience in jumping.
But, watching the videos in the forum, I will succeed better, my jumps. ?

I like normal jumping with the field. ❄ No ramp, for the moment.

As you can see in the photos of Kraton! I moved my Honda. The Kraton is more powerful....lol

Unfortunately, my shocks have lost all the oil. ?
So I used the shocks that I already had in hand.
Pro-Line - PowerStroke Short Course.

I use Arrma springs.
I use a Lipo 7400 3S! I adjusted the springs a little firmer.

These are the same shocks of my buggy 1/8.
I redid the shocks and it does not flow.
I have several different Pro-Line shocks and I do not lose any oil in general.

That the snow is sticky, soft and hard.
The tires have a lot of biting in the snow.

The defect of these tires! It's durability.
He is tearing it up quickly. I have in reserve (2 pairs of Granite tires). ?

I also have several Duratrax tires (2.8") for the Granite & Senton .
They are really good in the snow with more grip regardless of the snow. ?
On the ice he sticks a lot more.

The tires are very good on the pavement. The rubber is softer. Give me a lot of grip.
I like the original tires but it tears easily.

It's much better with the Pro-Line PowerStroke Shock.
I eliminated the double bounce I had in front of the truck.
The body is well cut and the wheels do not rub. ✂

i am thinking to buy proline badlands mx28 but for now is a little bit of the budget...how is duratrax tires compare with proline tires?
