Granite Granite 3s BLX v3 Part Compatibility to Earlier Versions

Hi all, I have the v2 version of the Granite 3s BLX that is in need of a few part replacements. Are most parts for the v3 fully compatible with the v2/v1 (I think I have a v2, it's the blue/red truck)?

Specifically I need to get a new body, body mounts and front/rear suspension arms are about shot (from what I've read I should go with RPM ones?). Also was curious about the motor fan set (AR390289) that is on the v3 and if it can be fit to the v2 or if I would need to make some modifications to attach it? Anyone used the bodypost protection set (AR480017)? I'm curious if these work since my son tends to turn the thing over on concrete enough that the body posts where the clips go through get shaved down pretty good.

Do any of these need to be specific to the model I have or are they all compatible with any version?

Check out https://www.arrma-rc.com/4x4/blx/granite/ for changes between V2 and V3 (scroll down, there is a “New for V3”). Since the overall platform and dimensions are seem unchanged, I expect V2 and V3 parts to be interchangeable. This is also something you can check through https://www.arrma-rc.com/products/-/30/1/ARA4302V3T1/STD/ALL/ALL Here you can select a part and if you scroll down you see the models you can use it in.

As for the AR480017 body post, yes I’m using them on the front / hood of the car. They work for me but I’m driving mainly on grass/sand, not concrete.

If you get the new V3 body, you should also get the new V3 body mounts. The V3 body is higher and has higher body mounts to match. The arms are the same, RPM are much more durable. The bodypost protection set will protect the body mount tops. The fan will fit perfectly, but if your son tends to turn over alot, I would advise an aluminum one. My plastic Arrma fan broke a blade after 1 run and cracked in half after 2 runs. I've been using this aluminum fan and it has survived countless hard bashes and impacts. (P.S. Most of the aluminum 30mm fans are the same, just rebranded.)

Fan cover, cheap, durable. I only found it in a 4 pack. I'm still using the first one.
