Anyone running a bigger pinion on stock setup? Any problems with heat? I'm thinking about doing 18 or 20 tooth...just looking for input.

You will need the adjustable motor mount to run anything other than 13, 15, 20, or 26T. 18T is a great bashing size if using heavy MT tires.

so I guess that is this one then? https://www.arrma-rc.com/part/AR310898

I am also thinking of changing the stock pinion at the moment, as it seems I can only get 37mph out of my Granite ... still plenty but lets say I am ambitious :ROFLMAO:

wondering if the 20T would still be fine for bashing or let me know why 18T is better? especially as the 20T fits the stock mount

20t wil over heat in my experience. Grass is out. Even with a fan it still had over heating issues. With 20 t you can hardly keep the front wheels down. I would go 17or18

Yes that is the correct mount.

Yeah 20T won’t finish a full pack before overheating. 18T is pretty close to the max for a full pack bash.
