Granite 550 mega

Hey all, I tried using the search but couldn’t find what I was looking for. I have a stock Granite 550 mega, we get quite a bit of run time but the motor gets really hot. What’s a good heat sink with a fan I can put on the motor? I’ve seen different diameters for it, most often I’ve seen 36mm diameter. I’m assuming I’d need to replace the ESC in order to have a heat sink and fan on it but if there is something to cool that down, cooler can’t be wrong… thanks in advance

Just search around for a brushed 550 motor heatsink. Amazon has some that are $10 with a fan - but I can't attest to their quality.

But before you go throwing money on top of a brushed system, think about maybe an inexpensive brushless setup - if you keep it mild you can probably get away with the stock gears.

Can you measure the actual diameter of the motor can. I bet it is 36mm. Or very close.
True of most 550 Brushed motor for this scale. IT is probably 50mm long. Just google 1/10 scale motor heatsinks and fans
