Granite Granite BLX 100 esc Upgrade

So I have a Arrma BLX100 esc that I was planning to place into my granite 4x4 blx... BUT a buddy of mine needs an ESC for his only car... So I was thinking of hooking him up with the Arrma BLX100... then buying myself a Hobbywing WP-SC8... thoughts or recommendations please?

Max 10 SCT is a board favorite. Either that or the BLX120.

The SC8 is a good esc. I see nothing wrong with going that route. The Max10 SCT is just the newer version of the SC8.
