Granite Blx 2wd rear stub axle replacement

I cannot find any information on how to replace my rear stub axles. The cups are wearing from multiple flips and the dogbones popping out. I ordered new ones and got them today, I just don’t know where to start other than taking the tires and a-arms off.

After taking the wheel off, then you need to carefully pry off the plastic hex hub from the axle. Once you get that off, it's just a matter of taking the axle drive shaft pin off so you can remove the axle from the bearings.

Cool. I may have bought the wrong parts. I bought what’s circled blue. I wanted to replace what’s circled in red. How do I get to the gear out drive axles?

To change part circled in red, you will have to open the gearbox and then take the diff apart.
