Wow, I didn't realize they made 2WD BLX units. I'm curious to see the them as well.Hey I own a Granite blx 2wd, would love to see pictures of other units. Don't seem to see too many of them anymore.
Looks slick! Mine has the red matching body, any difference in the truck or just different colour?
Where did you get the front skid plate? After many hours of running mine that is definitely needed!
The HPI Blitz ball diff from MIP works, you just need a few shims to set it right in the transmission housing. I did that on my Fury, which, for those that don't know, the 2WD Granite BLX, Raider XL, Fury, and 2WD Mojave all share the same chassis and components. Now i just need to find some current CVD's and hubs that will work in it, so i can start running it again.I read a while ago somewhere that the HPI Blitz diff can be used as replacement. This was like 4 years ago.
Any luck finding CVDs and hubs that work? The HPI Blitz ball diff from MIP works, you just need a few shims to set it right in the transmission housing. Not yet. I actually got lucky though and found the 83MM hardened dog bones, and aluminum rear hubs on eBay, and i haven't had an issue with it since, except for bending one dog bone, but i bought 6 sets just to have.Any luck finding CVDs and hubs that work?
Do you mind sharing what manufacturer and models of those aluminum pieces are? Also the full metal trans gears parts, or was that a fully assembled part by itself?View attachment 74693
