ok, so i'm going to get a new body for my granite and i am going to paint it a glossy jet black, should i back the paint with a matte black or white or something??

i have heard of that trick before i might have to try itIf you want the body to last a little bit longer you should reinforce it, most guys use drywall tape and shoe goo.
Really? I guess I never noticed.And if you back it with white, it will make the paint "pop" more. You will know this if you watch any of kevin talbot's videos.

And I think he said backing it with black paint will make it more dull.
