Hey Everyone,

Don't flame me, I know this has been asked a million times but I want to make sure I am right.

I need to replace the tires on my Granite (BLX). I'm thinking that I get 12mm to 17 mm extended hex adaptors, then I can go to the Proline website and pick out tires that are 17mm. Is that correct? What I want to do is put bigger tires on it and extend them so the truck doesn't flip as much.

Is this the right think to do? Thanks in advance.

Most just get the Hot Racing 17mm hex adapters https://hot-racing.com/?partnumber=ATF117XT02;c=1345

But back before Hot Racing came out with those people were using Duratrax 12mm hexes DTXC3596 and Hot Racing HRAWH17HT01 12mm to 17mm hex adapters.

If you want to go even wider you can get 3s Typhon front and rear a-arms and turnbuckles. The Typhon arms are a little longer than the stock granite a-arms.

I have a granite and thanks to everyone on this forum I was able to order MX28 badlands. You need to purchase the hex adaptors PRO634700. Then you should be good to go.
