Granite Granite mega brushless gearing?

Hi I have converted my boys mega granite to brushless.Its OK on 2s but it needs a little more.don't want to go 3s as he's dangerous enough with it as it is lol.I fitted the pinion that came with the brushed motor which is a 14t I believe.I am thinking maybe a 16t?

you'll break stuff quicker, do you need the extra performance? stock blx pinion is 15T for your reference.

Are you still running 48P pinion / spur or did you convert to MOD 0.8?

Thanks.still running the mega pitch gears but I have all the blx ones if I need them.I don't want crazy speed but just a bit more performance.
This is how it is at the moment and with a 2s it wasn't even barely warm.I reckon I could get away with a couple of extra teeth.

i ran 17/91 on my mega with the 48 pitch gears on 2 s it ran ok.

I will give the 17t a go and if he still wants more I will put the blx gears in it.
