Knowledge and wisdom required....in abundance...!!!
Hi all...I have a granite that was once a mega, now brushless thanks to some lucky buys on e-bay...! Anyway, traction rolling was an issue so swopped out the standard arms for Typhon. First run out I snapped an arm that probably shouldn’t have passed QC as it looked wonky at the body mount . On that first run, the front suspension just doesn’t spring back like the rears. It’s slow and doesn’t push down to normal resting position so front of the car is nose down.
Still very new to this hobby and know nothing about shocks. Was thinking of swop them out for alternative but the Typhon / Senton mix looked too pricey and can’t get hold of them. Too many complaints about proline, trackstar have been discontinued and as I’m hoping mine aren’t actually broken what’s the point in changing them yet.
Hoping it’s just an oil change, any ideas from the educated...??
also, second problem. Wanted to swop the tyres for proline and trenchers and opted for the Typhon 17mm hex and axel change. Problem is that it the wheels rub on the hubs (front and rear) so still need an offset. Is there a way around this or am I best going back to 14mm hex and use the proline adapter in the packet to get the offset? Not fussed about the lost £££ on Typhon hex and axel as also have a Typhon BLX so can keep the bits back for spares.
appreciated any help...
