Hi guys, quick question. I'm going to pull out my diffs (from big rock crew cab) for "maintenance" and just generally checking them (first time doing it ever). I have a little jar of Hudy Graphite Grease in the drawer and was wondering if I can use that on the external gear (i'm not ready to fully dive in to the diffs and opening them up just yet:)). I read from somewhere that marine grease would be the way to go and I am planning to get some in the near future but would it be viable to use the Hudy Graphite Grease for now?

Any automotive style or RC grease should be fine. I started using Red N Tacky from Lucas.

Ok, thank you. I actually pulled it out and it seemed that it had good grease on it (i've only driven like 6-8 full batteries with it) and i think i wont re-grease it with that stuff and just buy proper grease and do it the next time i pull it out.
