No my buddy who has big boy hobbywing 560 kv with max 4 esc on 5t says the diff case can still grenade on power even if case is aluminum?

Oh with that power I'm sure anything is possible.
Regardless if its aluminum it was still made for only 8s. And even with 8s it can still go boom.

A worn and/or loose bearing can cause it too.

Prob screws backing out too. Good call on bearings makes sense. I hope we never experience this !
