Grom Typhon BLX battery connector

I thought I had researched this question and found an answer, I guess I thought wrong. I thought the Spektrum connector for the 2s/3s batteries would pair up with the EC2 connector so I could run other batteries, it doesn’t. Did I not remeber this info correctly? Was it IC2?

I don't know if thats because the ec2 don't carry the signal wire or if they just arnt compatible.

Yep, they don’t physically fit, close but no cigar. Thinking I will have to order the correct IC2 end and make up an adapter for other batteries in the car. Not seeing other options. Thanks.

I know a lot of people prefer other batts, but I've been running the 2200mah 3s Spektrum G2 in my mojo grom with an IC3/IC2 adapter. I seem to get good run time out of it.
