  1. Felony
Has anyone used GRP tire’s on their felony without switching diff? If so what size and tire compound are you using? Not doing speed runs just having fun.

Thanks guys

I am sure some have done this. Bad idea. Just not correct for final drive ratio reasons. Drivetrain/Tire wear and all.(n)
Just not a great idea. (n)No matter how you will be driving it.
Only work around is to run a matching Front Diff at the rear. An Infr. V2 setup.
One reason why I didn't like the Felony. Looks nice, but you are pretty much stuck buying those 53/107 Hoons all the time. I think their traction sucks also.
Just me.
Just put in a front diff at the Rear and use GRP's or 42/100 Hoons at the rear. ( all fours)
The rear of the Fel body is wider for the wider Fel wheels.. So putting standard wheels on will tuck them in a bit. Be awkward looking. One other option ( after changing out the Diff) is to use the PowerHobby Gripper tires. They match the height/diameter of the front 42/100 Hoons. But are wider to fill in the Rear of the Fel body better. The Grippers are 54/100 size. They have standard width for the front also, for a full matched set. They are belted tires. Priced decently.

Own 2 and converted one to run grp's/ same tire front and rear. The OEM drive line handles a corner like it is on ice.

Thanks for your input, just trying to figure out if they sell a tire with the same diameter as the rear, don’t really care about width.

YW.
Yeah figure about 4-5mm a standard wheel will be tucked inside the body at the rear. Looks aside, Performance will be way better with the same wheels all around. As long as you put a front diff into the rear. Traction will be more balanced. Way more tire options is one major benefit. Many have complained about how the Felony doesn't quite hook up like the Infr. does.
I have a set of 4 53/107 rear Fel wheels (white compound) here. I've run them on a few of my rigs. The traction is horrible compared to the smaller 42/100 Hoons.
Just my observation.
Good luck.

Have all 3 tire compounds on my desk/ on the car they make 0 difference. Tried suspension adjustments, diff fluids weights in the rear nearly no difference. The center diff at 500k made a difference for a few runs. I tried foam tires and it made things worse.
