Fun observation: I find he is much better at playing solos than rhythm parts. My theory is that he is mainly left-handed in life, but he plays on a right-hand guitar...so his "best hand" plays the neck. Does that make sense?

Yeah... Solos are definitely harder for me than a comparable rhythm, I am right handed and play a right hand guitar.
