Hack for those pesky body post hole cracks- no glue needed

So my crawler needed some help in the body department. I may likely do this trick to my BRCC as well. If this hack has been done before, credit goes to them as this just came to mind when I tripped over a water bottle. The driver side hole is excessive, but might be able to get some more run time out of it.

Use a soldering tip to start the hole, finish it off with a dremel or round file

Get a socket that fits just inside the inner ridge, and give it a few good hits with a hammer

And there ya go. Add one underneath the body to add some support as well

I’ve used cheap silicone buttons like the ones you put inside wardrobe doors to avoid smashing
