I was researching soldering stations and these 2 came up in almost every search I did. But I'm torn between the 2, both have good reviews on Amazon but the X-Tronic is half the cost of the Hakko. Has anyone used either of these or both and have any insight on either of these 2 soldering stations?

The Hakko is great. That being said, there's not all that much to a soldering iron.

I use the weller pistol but have heard great reviews on the Hakko

I’m going to need a new iron for the connectors I just got, I think they are max 6awg? I like ryobi (don’t judge) so was looking at their cordless models but I think if I went corded I would go hakko

I have the Hakko and don’t anything bad to say about it. It heats up very fast and also drops temp very fast when you need to adjust the temp down. It bounces back in seconds after cleaning the tip on a sponge and the cable is light and flexible.
