Hey everybody! I was wondering. Has anyone destroyed one of their input gears and 3d printed a replacement out of ABS or even PETG? I was thinking of trying PETG and if that failed using reinforced Nylon.

I give reinforced nylon a 20% chance of survival. Any other filament gets a 0% chance.
I cant print with Polycarbonate but would bet that could work. Polycarbonate is by far the strongest filament in the world

I believe carbon fiber nylon would work better than either PC or carbon fiber PC. The better impact resistance of nylon would help in this application. PC is too rigid.

I have quite a bit of experience printing in both nylon and PC. They each have their benefits.
