Heatsink: useless or not?

So I found this video on youtube, and it made me wonder if heatsink weren't useless... or almost useless

What do you guys think?

The motor needs a load to generate some real heat. No real load on the motor in the video.

Exactly, you need a load to make heat.

Plus heat sinks are not as useful on brushed motors as they are on brushless.

It's 95 out today and I have the Yeah Racing twin fan set up on my outcast. On 4s today it kept the motor around 105 Fahrenheit.
