Help me bro 50spur vs 46spur

Ok here’s the deal I just installed hot racing battery tray, this is the issue I’m having after installing I noticed that the stock spur is Cunt hair to close to the battery tray side guard. If I put a 46t or 43t spur what is advantage of doing so? besides getting the clearance I need.

Gear ratio will go up, essentially the same effect you'd have by putting a bigger pinion. More top end, also more stress for the components. You might want to go down a tooth or two on the pinion.
