I was looking for some feedback on the various different rc work stands that are available on the market. I am looking for something that will be able to hold vehicles from 1/14 to 1/8th scale, I would like something that you can easily spin the car on, it needs to be tall enough to leave the wheels on and it needs to not be wobbly.

I currently have the Duratrax Pit Tech Deluxe car stand and it does not fit any of the criteria I listed above, it doesn't spin easily( the cars constantly come off while trying to spin, the wheels on my Outcast touch my work table when they are mounted to the truck and it wobbles way too much.

Honestly I am just looking for something better than the Durtrax one and I don't want to just start tossing money at car stands hoping to get one I want.

Thanks in advance,
Slick.

I just received my AMZ HobbyPark 6 1/4" stand. It has a ballast weight at the bottom, and a magnet. It also has 2 grub screws that secure the shaft vs one for my old 3 1/2" version, which has no bottom weight or magnet. The old one is used more as my my shock and diff building stand.

@cue003 That one wobbles quite a bit and it's not adjustable in height, make sure your tires will clear.
I'm using the Hobbypark version and you can get the wobble under control.

Yoga block. 5 bucks at Walmart.
Yoga blocks don't spin.
I have been eyeballing this one that is taller than the other duratrax mentioned I think.

Duratrax Pit Tech Deluxe Truck Stand, Blue, DTXC2380 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GAMMYOW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_iMW-FbJ4F89ET?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I don't really care for the Duratrax when you try to turn the car around most of the time it just slides around on the stand instead of the stand spinning.

I just bought the EcoPower stand. Going to see if it works out. Shows alot of promise.

I did as well but their last post was in 2013
I just noticed that, and the Bigsquid article was 2012, so I am safe to assume at this point in time they are no longer in business.

They are in business. Let me do some digging I talked to them in 2019 about the 3 teer rc rack.
In this thread I just posted what I use but have not purchased anything from them in awhile.
It is an awesome work station.

i picked up this eco power stand from amain for 30 or 40 bucks based off a recommendation vid I saw. Thing is durable as hell and turns but stops and clicks in several position. It could be taller but for all that I checked and it'll hold up a Notorious with backflips on it no problem. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has them, but I think this one is pretty OK.

StupidRC is up and running, takes about 3-4 weeks to receive items and shipping cost is horrible but it's good stuff if you are into that.
