Felony Help with front differential....

I tried to look but figure it would be easier to ask, doing a quick break down and oil change on the front differential for my felony and not sure if I need to have a shim right on top of the rubber seal on the head of diff. Or if i just put that in, the pin back, the gear and be done.? Does it matter?

The o-ring goes under the shim in the ‘o-ring’ opening of the gear. Looks like your o-ring is too large. Was that one in the stock diff?

Good eye!!! Yes the one that WAS in it, i cant find lol. So i through this .2 shim on just to show what i was talking about.

It almost looks like there’s a shim under your oring, but it’s really thin maybe the oring snuck out ?
Maybe not, I can’t tell my eyes suck lol
