Arrma RC's
  1. Mojave
  2. Senton 6s
Senton BLX 3S with 14mm hexes make wheel option harder. Looking to convert 3S trucks to 17mm we found no real good solutions. Senton's have 6mm axles with 4mm threads. Everything we tried was sloppy. M2C Racing that makes lots of RC parts. Their adapters have a retainer on the end to center and hold the hex adapter. They would be willing to make adapters if there was a demand out there for them. Would any else be interested in that?

There are already plenty of 17mm hex adapters out there Hot Racing makes a set that is a direct bolt on https://hot-racing.com/?partnumber=ATF117XT02;c=1346 also anything that works for the Slash or Stampede will work for the Senton as the stub axles are the same size.

The hot racing changes the offset and still create slop in the setup. The other options for the slash like the Traxxas 5353x adapters really created a lot of play. Being a machinist and a former racer I cannot handle that slop in the setup.

My Hot Racing adapters didn't add any slop. I never said you had to use Traxxas parts. Try these https://www.ebay.com/p/1540008258?i...n8kSYGxWLdc6mdBF1AMkdxZ4vDb7zPmIaAhqTEALw_wcB

-edit oops I forgot you will need these to use those https://www.amainhobbies.com/duratr...ZBQkNrSJ0Uh0NY6kz_3LnXiPwFpMUoocaAu4jEALw_wcB

Yeah I tried similar products to this but didn't like the way the wheel bolts to the hub. I want the solid threads on the snot with the 17mm retainer nut.
Buy the Typhon 3S axles and hexes. Factory fit 17mm hexes with no added offset.
I was looking at that a little. Do they need a different bearing then?

Sorry I was having a giant brain fart and completely forgot about the Typhon stubs and hexes......... I should have known this as I have a Typhon that I put Granite axles on so I could add the Hot Racing 17mm hexes

Nope just the stub axle and the hex. The actual plastic axle shafts and hubs are the same between the Granite, Senton and Typhon.
Sorry I don't have a picture of the Granite/Senton stub axles as they are on my Typhon.

Nope same bearing. You just need the axles, hexes, hex pins, and hex nuts. You can swap the axles on your existing driveshafts, or you can buy assembles driveshafts from a kit breaker. Your choice.
