I saw some hex adapters on ebay for 17 mm im gonna try. But since all the axle diamiter is the same as a emaxx they should work.

I tried the 17mm hexes for the Arrma BLX but the center hole was too big for my truck that’s what got me to thinking about 12mm by the way what size does the center hole need to be to fit the Mega

I measured 6mm with my calipers then checked my maxx trucks and they were also 6mm so they should fit.

Those are the ones i was talking about that TooTall is showing. Dependig on wheels you use a trim might be in order but the benefit of a larger and better selection would be worth it.

The e-maxx hex works too, but I have too many nightmares of that pin breaking on my e-maxx to recommend them :p

I'm running them on my Senton 6s & 4x4, & Typhon. They're awesome badlands copies. The seller says no 4S+ but I've been using them on 6S for months with no problems. He has them in black too.

Good to know thanks for all your help will post a picture of wheels and tires when they arrive

Ran some 14mm e-maxx wheels/tires on my Granite with some eBay wheel extenders. Have to turn the DH Down a bit, but they worked awesome on the sand last weekend.

You can use an old speedrunner trick to help that. Take a strip of electrical tape, cut the strip in half & wrap it around the axle 2-3 times. Wrap it so that it covers the hole & half of the threads. Poke the hole b4 you put the axle on.

Got new shoes with hex adapters the shims from thunderbird1983 and a 1mm teflon shim mounted and it rolls smooth with no play except what comes from turn buckles. I like the stance ill have to see how she drives now.
