Here’s just a few pics of something I been working on. High speed off-road build. Saga gears, swapped for ceramic bearings, pps mount, 1100kv 2028.

Looks interesting... Hopefully your tires are exact same size or you'll have issues with the diffs especially running a spool. Both sets of tires need to be belted as well but even then they may fail above 70-80mph but not sure what your goal is for top speed. Good luck and I'd be interested to see it run and if everything holds up👍

The tires have same size carcass so running in sand it’s not an issue. Ran this tire combo on typhon basher running a tp4060 and never had diff issue. Main issue is if they’re gonna hold. The “goal” is 100mph on sand, but it’s just a toy and the speed goal is really just an excuse to see what happens if you put 20hp in a sand buggy. Got a little done today I’ll post more pics tomorrow. Have xlx2 soldered with qs8, gonna run two chnl 4s packs, servo should be at the house already and just waiting on radio then I’ll get some video of it.

Might consider spiral cut diffs with all that traction. You’ll lose a little final drive ratio, but that can be made up on motor gearing.

Plus these tires are taller.
AAAANNNNNDDD the tires wont handle much past 70mph anyway....

I've run zip ties throu wheel horizontally on paddles to help with high-speed.works good.
I've had those mx28 belted tires up to 65pmh.
Zero balloning..strap all for you ya might get some high speed out of them.pull front shaft,2wd would be ba

I had thought of that zip tie trick before, sure it’d work good. We’ll see how they do once radio shows up.
