Arrma RC's
  1. Granite
I'm borrowing a JR z9100s servo from a friend to replace the stock servo. The handling is just lovely. The response and the snap back to neutral is almost instant. Torque is believe is only 12kg.

I've seen the Zoskay 25kg servo recommended on the forum and have seen reviews on youtube. And while the response is much faster than stock it's no where near the JR i'm using now.

I really like the handling of the JR but an equivalent model will likely be expensive. There is a 20kg PRO zoskay that is much faster than the 25kg. Would this be a better option than the 25kg? It also happens to be cheaper. The JR is only 12kg and it appears to be fine.

Option 2: I just found this. I believe it's better overall than the Zoskay for not much more.
Coreless, 0.7 response at 7.4v, 25kg, Waterproof and stainless steel.

You really don't need 20+ kg in a 1/10 3s rig... Until recently you could barely find a 20ish kg servo to buy, now they're everywhere thanks to crawlers and rock racers.

I put some Amazon special 20kg in my granite and it seems to be a good upgrade from the stock 7kg. I’ll see in the spring when I get more of my yard back from the snow, how the performance is.

Ditto on the Amazon special 20kg. It's a great upgrade. (Disclaimer: I have no experience with "real" high-end servos)
One thing I noticed: it'll blow through the stock servosaver. After a few packs, a change to a Kimbrough HD was just as noticable as the servo itself (to me).

I have a kimbrough sitting on my workbench. Maybe it’s worth replacing the stock one when I get a chance. Or just wait till the stock one breaks lol

It just gets loose and doesn’t center well
