Did you have to trim steering link or the side cover to fit that motor in there?
When I went up to the 44t I had to modify the side cover. With smaller pinions the motor fits fine. Didn't affect the steering link??

Mounted 1 inch thick , 40K rpm server fan directly onto the 56113, with Powerhobby 56-58mm twin aluminum clamping mounts...using heatsink tape so the mounts themselves even conduct heat away from the motor. Then I hid it under a dust/dirt/rock shield ( Can you see what the shield is made from, it's an Arrma part haha ) ...then added a smaller 12k fan blowing across the top of the motor and to the esc area ( Because I am running the stone shields , which blocks off airflow from the front )

I did yes. Only had to shave a tiny but off though. From my research it seems. The only option. Other than buying the aluminum upgrade which doesn't rub.

Order a pinion from saga custom RC. That pinion is way too small for that motor. I tried a 34 and it was too slow. Just installed a 41T from saga.

Really? I have an 800 kv on my 8s EXB with 34/39 gearing and it’s very slow to me but I was worried about going too high on the pinion. I actually ordered a 37T pinion from saga but haven’t installed it yet.

Hows the speed with the 41T? Any issues with puffing your batteries?
