Hobbywing foc motor in buggy?

My current motor has a short, need a newer, better awesomer one to replace.
The Hobbywing foc crawler motor caught my attention, speficially the 4274 1700kv. Will be used with a max6 in sensored mode in a 6s truggy.

Question is two fold. Will the foc crawler motor work with a non-foc/crawler/axe esc fine and is there any other reason the motor won't work as a buggy motor?

Hmm. I know @Big Kid made a crawler out of a Kraton & used a crawler motor, & its a FOC outboard motor. It's also 4WS. Maybe search his posts?

Read through it once, but wouldn't have paid attention to the electronic specifics. Was too in love with the mechanical bits. Will re-read, ty
