Hi guys, two blades of my max 5 esc fan broke when I was jumping my kraton EXB, what's a good and stronger replacement to get? Fan is 45mmx45mmx10mm, I guess hobbywing cheaper out on the fan....it's too flimsy

IMO it's pretty common for stock ESC's to break fans. I just saw this recently, but you could try an adapter and move to a more common size (like 40mm) that's easier to get:Hi guys, two blades of my max 5 esc fan broke when I was jumping my kraton EXB, what's a good and stronger replacement to get? Yes, 20mm high. That a 40mm?
Thanks bro! did you do anything special to get it to fit?Yes, 20mm high.
Not really just need long enough screws. They just self thread into heatsink. A little difficult to line up, but just mess with it you’ll get. Thanks bro! did you do anything special to get it to fit?
I believe radiocontrolpower is also selling fans that fit the Max5.
I bought my Max5 from them, they were the only ones in stock at the time. I also got the EC5 harness with 8mm bullets from them as well. I need that power switch mounting plate now though. Only issue i had was that the servo i bought from them did not match the spline on my Kraton 8s exb servo saver. But that was my fault for not double checking.Great people to deal with as well!
