  1. Kraton EXB
Hi guys, two blades of my max 5 esc fan broke when I was jumping my kraton EXB, what's a good and stronger replacement to get? Fan is 45mmx45mmx10mm, I guess hobbywing cheaper out on the fan....it's too flimsy

45x45mm is an odd size.
Max 5 is a fairly new HW ESC if I am correct?
If you have no choice but another stocker ,try to figure out how the blades cracked. From impacts, hitting the grill or fans frame. Maybe isolate the fan better. Get creative. Maybe get a High CFM 40x40x 20-40mm tall fan and mount it in some fashion.
I would try another Stocker replacement fan first perhaps.
See what others here say.

Dirty, but bullet proof

IMO it's pretty common for stock ESC's to break fans. I just saw this recently, but you could try an adapter and move to a more common size (like 40mm) that's easier to get:

Thanks bro! did you do anything special to get it to fit?
Not really just need long enough screws. They just self thread into heatsink. A little difficult to line up, but just mess with it you’ll get.

Items I purchased:

Make sure, if you purchase, get aluminum housing. Plastic ones break instantly upon impact.

Great people to deal with as well!
I bought my Max5 from them, they were the only ones in stock at the time. I also got the EC5 harness with 8mm bullets from them as well. I need that power switch mounting plate now though. Only issue i had was that the servo i bought from them did not match the spline on my Kraton 8s exb servo saver. But that was my fault for not double checking.

I had the same issue with my max5 fans. I have put a wire gauze on the fan housing which solved my problem. sometimes its the debris which breaks fan blades which we don't notice
