Typhon Hot Racing Bulkhead HELP!

So, for the life of me, I can't get the bearing to fit down far enough on the inside. I have placed a deep well socket on it, and tapped with a hammer, still can't get it down all the way in. Has about 1.5mm lip that will not let the input gear down enough. This bearing and inside hole indicated below. Any tips?

Maybe throw some heat on the housing and put the bearing in the freezer.

No, but I'll find it very entertaining...

HR bearing tolerances are hit or miss. The bigger issue will be once you get it in, will you be able to get it out? You might want to try different bearings. GL

Tried 3 different ones. Also gently slid exacto knife blade around inside of hole to check for burrs. Didnt notice any.

The website shows You need 8x19x6m bearing and It came with 5x13x4 bearing is that what you have?
And stock bulkhead bearing is 5x11x4mm

5x11x4 is the outer bearing that comes with. The stock (or upgraded) inner bearing is required.

Yep. Got it finally.

I tried 2 different Jim's bearings, they would not go all the way. Used a stock new one, and it fit.

Sucks I could not get the jims bearing to fit, but didn't want to "persuade" it too much. I bought the basher kit, so the bearing I wanted inthere was:

• Abec 5 metal shield motor bearing for inner diff pinion

I have jims in mine. fit with no issue. That's weird.
