Fellas - purchased it, and took the stock one out - cant get it apart... I have tried multiple was short of cutting it apart.. I think it is locktited together and could apply heat but...

Looking for suggestions.

In the meantime I just put in the bearings from fast eddie.... should I just save the hot racing servo for a rainy day ?

Thanks guys

From what ive seen they put red loctite on the v4 servo saver so some heat is required to get it apart. I would suggest putting it into a vise if you have it apply the heat for a few seconds at a time while alternately trying to unscrew it.

Pardon my ignorance. What is the advantage of this over stock?
Honestly I don't know other than the bling factor.

My associated servo savers never failed me back in the day.

Remove the lower chassis mounted screws first after applying heat to the screws. Don't remove the tops first. You will suck wind like I did. LOL

If you have a torch just heat that thing up good and it will come apart. Then like bicketybam said just add some washers till the desired tightness. It is a pain but finding the v3 servo saver is kinda tricky these days. At least for me anyways lol.
