Kraton Hot Racing Wing Mount

Anybody use a hot racing wing mount? how often do you break your diff case having less play in the wing mount ? i just picked one up, hoping that i didn't make a bad purchase. Only after the fact did it dawn on me that it may put extra stress on the diff case.

All depends on what you use your car for. I figure the aluminum HR wing mount as a speed run part. I can only imagine it will bend all out of place during the first heavy bash. I like to do cart wheels too much for that thing to last, more than a day on my car. The plastic one it came with has always just bent, but never broke.

I agree with @dpricenator, I'd much rather spend a bit less and get the RPM wing mount instead and have a lifetime warranty to boot.

Not saying the motor mount, servo mount, shock towers, Fixed Link Steering, and gear boxes/bulkheads aren’t decent upgrades, I just don’t have them.


I got my shock towers and steering rack from Voltage and my servo mount from GKA. Those 3 parts are so solid I would have a tough time recommending anyone else, for those.
