I’ve been having problems. I think I need to fill the cavity with foam becouse I’ve cracked 2 hard cases and today the balance wire broke becouse I faced the the wires to the outside of the body and must have hit the side panel in a crash. I don’t want them on the other side becouse I’m afraid of them rubbing on the drive shaft. This is how I do it now

I tuck my Bal leads under a velcro strap on top of the lipo. Works for me. ?‍♂️
They can get crushed easily. It happens.

That for me is always the hardest part when strapping down the batteries making sure that the leads and wires aren't just flopping around under the lid and keeping the batteries from sliding around, I find putting some self adhesive Velcro on the battery and on the bottom of the battery tray works great for helping keep the battery in place, a lot of guys use 3M Dual Lock.
