I've read mixed across the internet. I guess some of the higher end brushed motors don't.I didn't even know you needed to break in brushless motors, but at least now I know how.
I think all the motors I've done this with are 550 motors. Which aren't much more $15-25. So really no worries if I do break them, I take that as a learning experience. But if I can extend the life of them than even better.I would do that on the old mabuchi 540 motors that i ran in my clob busters. Those motors only cost 4 bucks though.
