What would be the best gearing for a good amount of speed? There is no definitive answer. It depends on whether you got a good one or a bad one. So with all things considered, it should last longer in your slash vs the stock arrma cars unless your slash weights over 10lbs and is geared to do 100mph.
If you are asking about what the best pinion size to use, this depends on your Slash gearing. For example, the speed pinion that comes with the V3 Talion is a 20T and the Talion will do 70+mph (approx 115 km/h).What would be the best gearing for a good amount of speed?
Right now, I am running 33 pinion and 73 spurIf you are asking about what the best pinion size to use, this depends on your Slash gearing. For example, the speed pinion that comes with the V3 Talion is a 20T and the Talion will do 70+mph (approx 115 km/h).
That's a big spur/pinion. Here is a RC Vehicle speed calculator. You can enter different size pinions, etc, and get an idea of different speeds. I hope this helps.Right now, I am running 33 pinion and 73 spur

Top speed truckI think the question we should be asking senton4x4 is what is his goal when building his slash. What is his mph goal, it is supposed to be a basher that goes off road, or it is going to be strickly a asphalt top speed truck?
I'm sure your gears pitch is 32p? If that right, It is nothing.Right now, I am running 33 pinion and 73 spur
