How Many Slappers Can It Take *Castle MMX8S*

Hello, I Have Slapped This Esc About 500 Times Or More By Now Haha I'm Talking Chassis SLAPPERS!!!!!! Question Is How Many More Can It Take!!!!!! This Is Pretty Unbelieveable!!!!!! Hahaha!!!

I don't think there's ever been a study on how many slaps an ESC can take but electronics either work or they don't. If I had to choose though, I'd go with 3.

It's amazing what esc's can put up with.

With a few XLX2's (same base architecture as the MMX8S) I've noticed they can start acting up at some point. There is some grey area where they still work but show intermittent odd behaviour. Once that starts it's wise to consider replacement.

I'm thinking there should be a study! Let's see who can slap the diodes and FETS outa the ESC. Oh yeah, don't forget to count!

Yeah there is only so much G force strikes they can take.
They get finicky at some point. Needing a reset.
Probably why there is a Reset button in the frst place.
But some brand ESC's have much better PCB Solder work than others. Potted/WP ESC's last longer. The potting minimizes PCB vibration IMHO Solder joints remain stronger.
