I picked up my Typhon 6s a few months ago. Had fun jumping it a good +15 feet in the air but could never do a flip. I swapped tires over to street tires, had lots of fun drifting but went through tires like crazy and swapped back to off road.

I had a set of Badlands MX28's leftover from my old Traxxas, threw those in there with a 6s and I was nearly doing standing flips. Downside was they ballooned alot and ended up taking some chunks out of the body. I picked up a set of Badlands MX M2's but haven't run them yet.

Currently have my diffs pulled to upgrade from the stock oil, doing 20k front, 50k center, 10k rear. Will I be able to flip with this setup? The MX28 ballooned a lot, and I'm guessing that helped me flip, the M2's don't feel like they'll balloon at all.

Any suggestions to help flip better while I've go it apart? Still learning a lot about this buggy and loving it!

I'm running 50K front, 500K center and 30K rear on my Typhon and it will flip on stock tires and buggy M2's.

Recently did the Kraton hub conversion and on Mojave 6S tires it flips really easily.

Didn't realize there was a 500k lol. Is that in the stock center diff? No issues with the high weight?

take's a lot to backflip a buggy cause of the small tyres but like said above try some 500k in the centre diff see how that go's

If you want to flip, try the Granite 4x4 Monster Truck. Large tires, short WB and Brushless power makes for some insane flipage. I learned trigger control for insane tricks with my Granite .

The diffs are stock other than the fluid change. It also wheelies pretty easily with 500k in the center diff.

Did a few runs with the new set up. 20k/50k/10k diff oil with Badlands MX M2 tires. With a 6s off a 10" straight jump was able to get about 3/4 of a flip. Think of the jump had a lip, probably would have made it the full 360°. I have the Arrma 4s Backflips getting delivered tomorrow, excited to see what difference it will make.

That said, the new set up probably gave me an extra 10' of distance off the jump when not trying to flip!

The Typhon isn't going to be great at flips for the most part, unless your ramp sends it nearly straight up and very high. I would check out Rich Duperbash's videos for Typhon flips and the setups he has. It's a lawn dart for sure!
