How to make Granite 4x4 wider

Does anyone know how to make the Granite 4x4 wider?

Get these hex adapters then you can put any of the 17mm wheels on her. Get like a proline masher or superswamper and it will b wider for sure.

I have some of these at the house, but have not installed them.

The stock wheels already have a 1/2" offset, which is the same as the Proline tires so the hexes won't help that. Hex extenders would work if you can find some that will fit a 6mm axle - but the axles are already weak pot metal & won't last too long with extensions.
