Not sure how I bent it. Fixable?

Big pair of channel locks or vice without removing parts is how Id do it honestly.
The more correct way is to strip it down, or at the very least, the front end. That way you can get a vice or hammer on it.
The front tab is bent, yes, but thats not going to be the important part to make straight. Under the bulks and behind need to be as good as you can get it or youll see some strange asymmetric handling issues.

If you don’t own a heavy duty 4”+ vice, are you not a hardcore RC hobbyist? 🤔

Uh, you ran into something? Having upper arms an inch thick probably didn’t help…
Right? I wonder if they’re aluminum or 3D printed. It’s hard to tell.

You need the thick arms to support what looks like a 12s, 15,000mah lipo under it. No wonder it bent the chassis...
That’s a foam yoga block. I also use them for RC. They rock.

The bigger question is why are you are at a prison??

An actual out door on road track..

More like several somethings. The chassis was tweaked prior to the aluminum arm upgrade.

Yup aluminum. They are awesome. But I am watching what happens to my bulkhead over time. I will probably be better off switching back to composite soon. Already found a suitable arm.

And yep the yoga blocks are cheap, light, and super useful.

Dunno about hardcore but I ended up borrowing a vise from one of the guys at the track. I think I made the problem worse though. 😱 I did a quick hack job, ran the car, and ran it into the boards off the straightaway. Splitter is now in pieces and the front mounts are wrecked. Best to strip it and check the whole thing per Chapinb's suggestion. Any reco on a good vise to get?

@Chapinb thank you!

Sorted it out with an adjustable wrench! 🔧 Was able to bend the front back up and flat-ish. Had enough spare parts to recondition the front hardware too. All set for race day.

Carbon doesn't bend 🤔😇

It’s amazing how well they work as a clamp on prybar.
