How to Wash and Oil Stuck Differentials after use on the sea

Hello

I drove my ARRMA Mega Senton 4x4 (brushed) into the sea a few months ago and abandoned it. Recently, I removed the power box and the front diff and there was sand all over the parts. The diffs are very sitff and hard to move and make them turn. I connected the batt and pushed the throttle and it turns for a while and then stops. I don't know if the motor is ok, although I have a spare new one.
I want to wash the diffs and grease them and see if this fixes the issue and maybe use the motor for a while longer. Can you give me some advice on how to do this?, I have low experience on RC Cars (maybe a little bit more on RC Planes) and a Video would be very useful for me.

Use brake fluid to clean all of the parts, then use WD 40 to oil them, then add grease to the diffs when assembling them.

Start dissamble, remove diff houses and so on.

Spray everthing with WD40 alot.
Let them sit 24h full with wd40
After that use waterspray like garden waterpistol.

Let the Parts dry out 24h
Then use Car Brake Cleaner Spray alot.
After this More WD40 and paper dry clean.

Then new oils.
No Grease inside diffhouses please.
New grease to main gear and pinion is ok

Buy also couple new Sealings, diff sealings and so. Change them same time

This is fun , you fix this .

Remember use Plastic gloves, you don't want that poop in your skin.
Also put T-SHIRT over your mouth when you spray things.
Do it OUTSIDE.
Inside old bag or something poop you got,
leave this nasty bag ,dirty oily bag to safe place where they handle material that has oil and can easy start fire

The Mega trucks don’t use diff oil. They use grease.

It does not matter what they have original.

You always make things better self in RC.

TRX did use Grease at Front diff before.
All serious Bashers change this almost first day to Silicone Oil.

If you ask me and alot RC Drivers
We say NEVER GREASE in diffhouse please.
Only Silicone Oil
There is Heavy Weight Options.

Offcourse you can use grease if you want.
No one can say YOU MUST HAVE OIL.

Oil is Better.
When do this. Open diffhouses, clean them, Why not make it better also sametime ?
Smoother run, more battery time, longer lasting chassie overall when using Oil
