Hey Guys,

so ive started putting together my HR shocks for my Granite and Kraton.
Ive assembled them correctly as in pictures I have seen here, and I am going to try out some 42.5 weight shock oil in the back, and 45 in the front.

My question is filling them.
Im assuming I fill them from the bottom and then install the piston/shaft/ assembly.

How full do I fill it? I see it has a bleeder hole. I know how to use that, but Im just unclear how much oil to actually put in. Im used to filling from the top of the shock and filling to the line and actuating the piston to remove air bubbles and make sure the shock it fully filled before I bleed it.
With this shock, i don't see a way to actuate the piston to it greatest effect filling from the bottom.

Thanks for any advice.

If you look down in the body you will see a machined land at the end of the threads.. look at the thickness of the piston, you want to fill up to just before that land, about half a pistons thickness down...
