Htrc T240 duo Charger D/C Charging

Hello new to lipo batterys and picked up a t240 touch screen charger. Works great on A/C , I'm trying D/C because I hear it chagers better? What D/C power supply would I need to buy? was wondering is any one out there would know? I Jerry rigid a D/C set up any it does seam to charge fast. Using a battery jump box .. thanks thinking of naming the K8S "Babby Huey" thanks for the Help

'Charge fast' is a odd description.
What is the charging C rate your Lipo can tolerate? (Typically 1-2C, not the discharge rate).
6S = 22V and 5000mAh at 1V is 5000mA or 5A. 22*5 = 110W and your charger can do up to 150W on AC i.e. it's not max'd out yet.
Moving to DC will make no difference.

It starts making sense when you require more than 150W per channel, typically when you start charging batteries in parallel.


Example: If your Lipo is capable of 2C charge rate you would need 220W, at that point a DC supply is required and your charge time would be less or 'faster'.

Thanks for the info and it did changer like crap would only charge 1 battery at a time.. I forgot the 3prong plug so I used D/C won't do that again
