Will this motor still be waterproof?

Mine stated it is waterproof but I'd would go with "water resistent". My HW max6 and 1650kv have been soaked from wet road runs and carried on working with no issues.

Sorry, I was not clear enough. Motor has been damaged where the cables come up ..

My max6 has been soaked, rain, mud, wet grass and a water hose. No issues but id just say water resistant.id get some good silicone to help seal that grommet

Yep or liquid tape. Even then, I'm not thinking of using those for waterproofing. I would do it to prevent the vacuum from sucking dust in.

I just discovered liquid e tape and it is fantastic. I think I got Permatex brand. Outstanding.

I don't understand, why didn't the OP just RTV silicone (or reg silicone) around the wires and push them down, water and heat protection like new no? keep it simple.

OP doesn't know how to take his motor apart? The proper way to remedy this.
No BLX motor is water proof anyway. Why do people believe this nonsense? Because marketting says so? Even motor designers know this is not so.
Perhaps ever so "slightly"" Water Resistant and in a perfect world???

For what it's worth, nothing on God's Green Earth is water proof. Water affects EVERYTHING eventually.
