2/6/22 Update: Since I started this post about my vorteks awhile back it’s become my regular post for the car. So here are the details on my Arrma Vorteks Hybrid.
It started out as a Vorteks, my Father’s Day present, and I didn’t like it after a few runs. After shelving it for awhile I decided to ‘fix’ what I didn’t like about the car.
Turned off the avc.
Granite front shock tower so I could run mojave shocks
Typhon arms and turn buckles
Hot racing motor mount
6s mojave front shocks all the way around with team associated yellow springs. 50wt back, 60wt front.
Hot Racing diff covers front and rear- 25wt front diff, 15wt rear diff
Spectrum 130amp smart esc
Surpass 3670 (with o-ring around end of the can and washer/o-ring beneath pinion), 2650kv and 16t pinion.
Reinforced spur hub with a bearing race.
New Powerhobby belted Raptor wheels/tires
That’s it so far!

Well, since I’ve been up all night anyway watching out for my sick step daughter, I decided it’s time to take this Fuze six pole 3660 2850 kV motor and 18t pinion that I’ve had lying around for a couple of months and shove it in a car. And what better car to shove it into then the inbred hybred vorteks.
I got this motor because I wanted something that could also go also slow a little bit better than the standard four poll motor. My Vorteks is my all around car. With all the changes I’ve made to it it’s become my favorite next to the high flying granite.
I can’t wait to try it out
huh… I went to add pictures and just realized I forgot to take pictures. Shucks, it’s such a pretty motor.
