Yes, masking works just like in traditional paint application, but once it's wet needs to be replaced once the body is dry from the dipping process. You'd tape the windows, dip the body and wash with warm water for 5 minutes to remove all of the film and chemical residuals. At this point your tape job will start to unpeel and need to be taken off to clean the clear areas under the tape. Carefully reapply tape to the same area as before after the body has time to completely dry, then proceed to apply your base coats.

I did a typhon 3s body. Dam air bubbles in the roof. Paint it black. I have to adjust my dipping angle to get the roof air bubble out. I think it turned out cool though.
