im putting my brand new kraton back together the main aluminum mount was not hurT.is it ok to run it like that

see the upper shock mount red the plastic corner broke off ,the mounting plate is fine

Ahh, you will need that hinge pin retainer, it stops the hinge pin from moving.

If only the plastic portion is broken off, you will be ok. The plastic provides some support to the alu portion but should be fine.
I'd still get a replacement for the future.
