Hey guys just wanted to show this truck. I picked it up used, was in pretty good shape. It’s a V3 Notorious. All it needed was a transmitter/receiver so I added the FlySky GT5 which is great. I recently hacked the body just a little to try out some Proline Big Joes I’ve had forever. These are pretty wide but low profiled side wall tires, an they are vented on the outside from proline.

I would just like to switch the center diff to the quick change mount for pinion changes. and I do plan to go 22/46 gearing and a 1460kv hobby star motor eventually. The stock motor is definitely getting tired in this truck!

Thanks everyone this truck is quickly becoming my favourite. I’ll give it first run today with the big joes I’m hoping these don’t balloon it actually looks like they won’t that much but we will see haha. I’ll see if I can capture an action pic. I ended up busting out one of steering posts or something I can’t quite tell but it was a blast while it lasted. I’m wondering if the big joe tires caused it but they are pretty well the same weight as stock tires. I know a slash haha I bring that thing everywhere it’s a back up for those that want to try! Is the V3 steering setup the same as the updated notorious/outcast? I’m wondering if I update it now I’ll have to do some comparing on the exploded views

I’ve done some work recently to the truck, the steering fell apart but I finally got my parts so I replace the whole steering linkages and setup and while I was in there I installed my rpm front arms finally to match the rear. Quite happy with it. I’ll take it out for a run tomorrow again! I went back to stock tires for this run tomorrow. I’m wondering if the big joes are lighter weight then the Bakflips it’s hard to tell they almost feel lighter but wider
