Well the king is down. The receiver went bad after only like 4 runs. I bought it off ebay so no warranty. What do you guys recommend as a replacement receiver? Thanks!

Since the damn receiver took a dump today before I could run, I couldn't test out the GPM 7mm driveshafts

Yes,the new v1.75 has already got 20M diff oil in the center diff in the factory. You can see it from the manual.

I tried out my smc 9400 75C batteries on my K8S today and I'm convinced that it has 20 million in the center diff. I could easily pop whellies from a dead start on concrete and keep rolling with the front end off the ground. I'm happy to report that those batteries sure last way longer than the 6500mAh 60C cheap ones that I tried last time. I got about 20 minutes of run time and didn't hit LVC or thermal. Those batteries are meant for my xmaxx, but they will be used on my K8S from now on.

Added a rear suspension arm to the parts list last night- hit my jump a little cattywampus and cartwheeled the landing. 23T pinion and bone stock everywhere else but the TBR bumper. Loaded with twin 9,000 mAh 4S lipos, she hits pretty hard.

The force and sounds of the wreck had me worried that I’d be finding a rag doll thrown over a yard sale of broken parts, so I’m calling this snapped suspension arm Arrma tough! ? Breaks where it’s needed to save the rest. Best $9.50 I’ve spent in a while! ?

I've yet to break an arm, and I've taken some really big jumps. What I've broken is the bolts on the wing mount (the ones that go through the shock tower). I find it amusing that the metal bolts break easier than the plastic mount itself. The mount is also damaged. I have the mount but have to wait for the bolts.

Funny, so far I’ve only broken the beefiest plastic on the K8S and nothing else ? Both were easy repairs costing at or less than $20

Has anyone done this already? Front O8S bumper on the K8S? It's a direct fit. I've had some pretty bad nose landings and that bumper has held up with no issues BTW (at least on the O8S).

That's weird. I bent the tie rod ends for the steering on both sides in the front. I'm going to try out the gpm ones. Fingers crossed. GPM is hit or miss, depending on the part. The rear CVDS are working OK (they bend, but it's drivable like that). The front CVDS are breaking at the hubs. I broke one already and some other people here have done that too.

Cool. I'm assuming it's working fine while taking some hits? I did have to order a replacement one for my Outcast 8s. The only extra thing that I needed where the bolts on the top. ?

I’ve done extremely hideous nose dives with it and it’s as good as new. My license on the front says “student driver “...?

cheers,
kev
