I think I took the Arrma name too seriously, lol. Bent my rear shock tower pretty bad, and front bumper ripped off. I mean she was 15ft in the air but I didn’t expect this (hard cart wheel). Taking the front bumper off should be fun. Screw heads holding the front bumper on popped off, and lost a front pillow ball hub screw. She’s ready for the parts though; cleaned (partially w/o taking everything off) and ready to go.

Have a T-bone bumper, hot racing front hub nuts, and stock rear shock tower on the way (super deal on Jenny’s rc).

Any other upgraded parts to prevent this would be great. I have jumped this car many times w/o much other than chasis slaps (Annoying) despite cranking the shocks down.

Can't wait to bash it again.

Flatten the shock tower with a block of wood and a hammer. Remove the rear differential and flatten the chassis. Make a tower to tower brace, couple of threads here how to do it. Won't completely stop the damage but helps a lot on the chassis flex. I bought the hot racing rear shock tower but haven't used it, I keep flattening out the stock one myself....... Lol

Eventually they crack, but they are cheap enough to keep a spare on hand.

@MeesterC Thanks for the advice. I checked the chassis and it seems to still be perfectly straight. Mostly concerned about the rear right shock piston being bent. Overall, the truck seems very front heavy so I can see the rear being a weak point..

I laid the tower flat on cement with a towel underneath and couldn't get it quite perfect. It is really bugging me . The parts I ordered are also on slow shipping. Glad I will be out of town this week for work, can't quite cure the itch with my mini traxxas -___-

I'm new to this too, and from what I've read, chassis slap is good. Like said above, if you have things adjusted to not have chassis slap, something will break. I have a pair of Just Bash It shock towers, along with their billit chassis. I don't think they will bend anytime soon. Expensive, but very well made. All the 6S models are pretty heavy to be landing from a high jump. It's amazing how well they do stock.

I reinforced my rear tower it’s been holding up so far but haven’t really bashed my kraton yet. Another good suggestion is moving the switch I zip tied mine to the center tower it kept shutting off on less than 5 ft jumps

They should really mount the switch so it's sideways vs forward/back. I've had mine shut off on hard rear landings a few times.

@cootertwo you weren't kidding when you said they aren't cheap, $104.99 ouch. They do look rather beefy though. I will most likely do a tower to tower brace home made to save some $$.

@WTF MIKE that looks like it'll take a beating. Luckily, I haven't had the switch problem yet. The battery does unplug after large jumps which is a pain in butt at times when the truck is far away.
